The East Rochester Bombers were within one possession of the undefeated Lyons Lions late in the third quarter at the Atwood Gymnasium on Thursday afternoon. Strong offensive rebounding from Justin Smith and JC Walker in the fourth quarter helped Lions open up a margin and move to 5-0 with a 14 point win as the Lyons seniors were honored prior to tip. Some of the Lions senior class have been on the varsity roster for three consecutive sectional titles. After an undefeated start to the season, they are early favorites in Class C1 to capture a fourth straight.

The Gananda Blue Panthers had all they could handle trying to keep pace as 1 game back in the Wayne County standings in Sodus on Thursday night. They were able to hold off a late comeback from the Spartans and record a 4 point win.
The Lyons vs. East Rochester girls game was postponed as the Lyons girls program is on pause as due to Covid-19 contact tracing and quarantine.

Jackson Kulik was quiet in the first half, again. For @HoopsTitans to leave Penfield with a win, @ThomasAthletics needed every bit of Kulik's second-half and last-second heroics.
