Rivera reported that he was robbed at gunpoint while walking back to his residence from a gas station. He claimed a vehicle pulled up, and an individual inside pointed a gun at him – demanding money.

Rivera stated that he gave $121 to the two individuals inside the vehicle. However, upon investigation, he admitted that the incident was made-up.

Rivera was released and will answer the charges at a later date.
