The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Rochester man following a traffic stop on Penfield Walworth Rd. in Walworth.
Deputies say Jeffrey Steger, 29, of Rochester was charged with felony DWI, aggravated DWI, felony AUO, failure to keep right, and operating without an interlock device.
The arrest stems from a traffic stop after deputies observed a vehicle that was failing to keep right while westbound on Penfield Walworth Rd. near the Tops grocery store.
During the traffic stop the operator, identified as Steger, was found driving while intoxicated. He submitted to a breath test, which revealed his BAC to be 0.20%.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
