Police in Seneca Falls say a 44-year-old Rochester man threatened to fight and kill them during a traffic stop on Friday around 9:50 p.m.
Clinton Pelt, 44, of Rochester was arrested after a traffic stop on Rt. 5.
Police say they stopped the vehicle that Pelt was traveling in for a moving violation. During the traffic stop Pelt exited the vehicle and did not comply with orders.
He told police that he would fight and kill them – making aggressive movements toward police.
Police say Pelt resisted arrest, but was taken into custody. He was charged with disorderly conduct, harassment, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental administration.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
