Interactive meeting set for Waterloo village residents to talk strategies for improving access to downtown

The first community meeting to gather public input on the Village of Waterloo Circulation, Access, and Parking (CAP) Study will be held at the Waterloo Fire Department, 39 Water Street, Waterloo, NY at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 23.

Those in attendance will be provided with information on the Waterloo CAP study followed by a hands-on, interactive public workshop. The purpose of the workshop is to identify potential strategies that will improve circulation, access, and parking opportunities within and between Village anchors including downtown, the Erie Canal, parks, and area schools.


This is an opportunity for residents and businesses in the community to provide feedback on ways to provide safe connections between the anchors for vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists.

Protocols related to the Covid-19 pandemic will be implemented for the meeting.
