There’s some good news to report at a local nursing home, which saw one of the most-intense outbreaks of COVID-19 out of any facility.
The Huntington Living Center in Waterloo said late last week that for the first time in months there were no cases of COVID-19 in residents or staff.
The nursing home is operated by Finger Lakes Health.
As long as there are no active cases, the facility will be able to begin the process of restarting in-person visitation.
Officials say they are working on a final plan for this change.
