A pop-up vaccine clinic is happening this weekend at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church.
The pop-up clinic is aimed at addressing the inequities in vaccine distribution in minority communities.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced 35 total community-based sites across the state. There were only two in the Finger Lakes region.
The pop-up clinics are happening in churches, community centers, public housing complexes, and cultural centers.
Mt. Olive has 300 total shots, but as of Thursday, only 50 remained. Pre-registration is required, and the slots will likely be filled up – if they are not already.
