The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of an Ontario man following an investigation into a domestic incident.
It happened on Everdyke Rd. In Williamson on Tuesday around 10:45 p.m.
Deputies arrested Christopher Ward, 50, for first-degree criminal contempt, obstruction of breathing, obstructing governmental administration, and resisting arrest.
It’s alleged that during the altercation Ward put his hands around the throat of the victim. He went on to obstruct one of the officers at the scene as they attempted to investigate and take him into custody.
Ward is scheduled to answer the charges at a later date.
