Geneva man charged with felony contempt in Waterloo

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Geneva man after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Freddy Sapp, 56, of Geneva was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, after an investigation into a domestic incident.

Sapp is accused of communicating with a subject who was protected by a court order in November.

He was processed and released. The charges will be answered at a later date.
