Driver charged after one-car crash in Williamson overnight

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Sodus man following a crash in Williamson.

Deputies arrested Donald Brown, of Sodus for driving while intoxicated, driving with a BAC over 0.08%, unlicensed operation, and moving from lane unsafely following the incident on Monday around 11:10 p.m.


Brown is said to have been driving north on King St. in the town of Williamson when he left the road – driving into a ditch.

He ended up on the south side of Rt. 104 – facing east in the ditch, according to deputies. Brown refused to go to the hospital, but submitted to a breath test and was found to have a BAC of 0.13%.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
