Seneca Meadows Inc. has not submitted responses to the 36 questions and requests for more information on its application to expand the landfill in Seneca Falls.
That application was submitted on July 20, but didn’t become public knowledge until late-fall.
On November 23 the DEC asked SMI to respond to questions before the application is considered complete and ready for review.
According to the Finger Lakes Times, Seneca Meadows District Manager Kyle Black says the company is working on answers to those questions.
“Once DEC has determined the permit application to be complete with all required information, DEC will notify the public and have the completed application in its entirety for public review and comment,” added DEC spokesman Kevin Frazier to the FLT.
