Deputies arrested a Williamson man following a domestic incident in the town of Williamson on Wednesday.
Around 6:15 p.m. James Cannon, 32, of Williamson was charged with second-degree criminal trespass, fourth-degree criminal mischief, driving while intoxicated, failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, operating while on a mobile device, refusal to take a breath test, and failure to notify DMV of an address change.
It’s alleged that Cannon showed up at a residence in Williamson – kicking in a locked door, getting into a physical altercation with one of the occupants.
While deputies were investigating the incident Cannon was stopped by another deputy for a traffic infraction in the town of Ontario. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated and refusing a breath test.
The charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
