Police: Seneca Falls man faces felony charges after two incidents

Police report the arrest of a 58-year-old Seneca Falls man on felony charges after an investigation into two incidents.

Robert Giggetts, 58, of Seneca Falls was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal contempt and two counts of aggravated family offense.

The arrest stems from two separate investigations that began in September 2020, in which Giggetts is accused of being in contact with a resident on two separate occasions while he had a stay-away, no-contact order of protection in effect prohibiting him from being in contact with the local resident, police said.

He was released after being taken into custody and will answer the charges at a later date.
