Greenidge Generation has made a significant contribution to the Dresden Fire Department.
They donated $25,000 toward the purchase of a Jaws of Life, a piece of equipment regularly used at serious car accidents.
“The village of Dresden is our home where our team works each day to ensure that the community has a safe, reliable power source and the premier data center for crypocurrency in the United States,” Greenidge President Dale Irwin said in a press release. “This has been a rough year for everyone, and we take our role as a trusted employer and community steward very seriously.”
The Dresden Fire Department has been in operation since 1894.
