Police: Driver had BAC over four-times legal limit during Seneca Falls crash

Police say they arrested a 42-year-old following a one-car crash on 5&20 on December 8th.

The arrest took place on January 24th after an investigation that spanned more than a month.

Police arrested Timothy Abell, 42, for aggravated driving while intoxicated. It was determined through investigation that Abell was operating with a BAC more than four-times the legal limit when he crashed into a utility pole.

He has a previous DWI conviction, according to police, which meant elevated charges.

Police said Abell was charged with felony DWI, felony aggravated DWI, and crossing hazard markings. The charges will be answered at a later date.
