Gov. Andrew Cuomo says everything COVID-19 vaccine-related is a ‘week to week’ proposition now.
“We’re trying to smooth it out, but we’re also trying to get it out as fast as possible,” Cuomo said earlier this week, speaking to the challenges of rolling out the vaccine.
Altogether, 86% or 1,156,079 total doses had been administered as of earlier this week. That excludes doses being used for nursing homes across the state.
Next week just 250,000 additional doses are expected. The Finger Lakes region had administered 88% of doses it received to date, as of Wednesday.
