Law enforcement was ready over the weekend for any rallies or protests that could have turned violent in New York’s capitol. That said, it didn’t materialize.
Barricades were set up and multiple layers of fencing ensured that people could not get too close to the Capitol Building.
Multiple agencies will remain in Albany through the week, as threat levels increase closer to Inauguration Day.
