The Weedsport man who was taken into custody on January 1st following an incident involving a rifle at a hotel near Washington D.C. may have had links to the Capitol attack.
The Washington Post published a list of arrested related to the attack on the Capitol Building.
Moses Geri, 38, was taken into custody on January 1st, before the incident on January 6th. However, it was reported by The Seattle Times that Geri drove from Weedsport to Washington D.C. to participate in the protest that turned violent.
He’s currently being held at the Arlington County Detention Center without bond.
