Generations Bank announces the promotion of Nancy Whyte to Vice President – Employee Relations & Development Officer. In her position, Whyte oversees the human resources and employee training departments.
Whyte joined the organization in 2008 as the Operations Administrator. Over her 13 year career at Generations Bank, Whyte has held a variety of positions in deposit operations, data support, support services and training. Whyte was instrumental in establishing an operations department to include ACH processing, online banking, debit card processing, IRA-HSA administration and more.
In her current role, Whyte has trained and developed staff on operational policies and procedures. One of her primary responsibilities has been developing and facilitating a training program for current and new employees.

Before coming to Generations Bank, Whyte attended Finger Lakes Community College and graduated with an associate’s degree in Business Administration.
Whyte resides in Geneva and is active in her community. Currently, Whyte serves as a board member for Child and Family Resources in Geneva.
