Romulus man violated court order, charged with contempt at local jail

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Romulus man on a contempt charge after an investigation into his incarceration at the Seneca County Jail.

Christopher Freeman, 33, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt after violating a Class A order of protection issued by Seneca County Court.


He is accused of sending a letter to the person who was protected in the court order.

The contempt charge will be answered at a later date.
