The Cayuga County Health Department administered a COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Saturday.
The doses were limited, but it took place at the Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES in Aurelius. It was open to a number of workers in health care, as well as those who are considered frontline, first responders.
Over 300 people received their first dosage of the vaccine, according to officials. It was the Moderna vaccine.
“We’re really pleased to have this to offer our community members,” Cayuga’s Public Health Director Kathleen Cuddy told The Citizen.
