The matchup was finalized on the 28th anniversary of the 1993 Wild Card game between the Bills and the Houston Oilers, when Bills quarterback Frank Reich engineered a 32-point comeback to lead Buffalo to a 41-38 overtime victory. Reich is now the Colts’ head coach.
The Bills announced an agreement with New York State to allow 6,772 fans into the Bills Stadium for the wild-card game, which will be the first playoff contest held in Buffalo since 1996. Tickets, which were offered to Season Ticket Members, are sold out.
