The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Newark man following a larceny investigation in Williamson.
Deputies arrested Johnta Streeter, 28, of Newark on one count of petit larceny. It’s alleged that a person sat in the backseat of his vehicle and dropped $700.
The person was not able to make contact with Streeter, and he subsequently blocked her from contacting him.
He was processed and released. The charge will be answered at a later date.
