Syracuse blows out Boston College, 101-63 (full coverage)

Syracuse (4-1) jumped out to an early lead and never looked back an impressive shooting display led to a 101-63 route of Boston College (1-5) in the conference opener.

The offensive outburst included a program-record 16 3-pointers, all-five starters in double-figures and the team’s first 100+ point effort since Feb. 1, 2017 against NC State. It was also the largest margin of victory over a conference opponent since ‘Cuse joined the ACC for the 2013-14 season.

Alan Griffin led the way with 19 points, including a 6-of-9 effort from behind the arc. Joseph Girard III (17), Buddy Boeheim (17), Quincy Guerrier (14) and Marek Dolezaj (10) were the starters in double figures, while Kadary Richmond (12) reached double figures off the bench.
