Deputies: Victor driver charged after two hit-and-run accidents

Deputies say a Victor man was taken into custody after two hit-and-run crashes in Ontario County on Thursday.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Maxwell Meskos, 22, of Victor for driving while ability impaired by drugs, as well as driving while ability impaired by a combination of drugs and alcohol.

Deputies were assisted by New York State Police as they investigated two separate hit-and-run property damage accidents in Ontario County.

The first occurred in the town of Victor. The second occurred in the town of Farmington.

Mesko was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage crash, speed not reasonable, moving from lane unsafely, operating with an open container, and unlawful possession of marijuana.

He was processed and issued tickets. The charges will be answered at a later date.
