The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Rochester man following a disturbance that occurred in the town of Walworth.
Deputies were dispatched to a Walworth address on Sunday around 3:40 p.m. It was alleged that several young men showed up at a residence causing a disturbance.
It was further alleged that one of the men displayed a handgun and threatened a person before fleeing the scene in a vehicle.
With assistance from New York State Police the suspect’s vehicle was located and stopped on Route 104 in the Town of Ontario leading to the arrest and discovery of a stolen handgun.
Divine J. Noble, 18, of Rochester was subsequently arrested for fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree menacing. M
Noble was held at the Wayne County Jail and an order of protection was sought for the victim.
