The Schuyler County Health Department says a fifth person has died from COVID-19 in the community.
The report came on Wednesday, as 28 total active cases were reported, as well as three hospitalizations.
The department also notified the community of one incorrectly noted case in Tuesday’s report. The issue, which was an outlier, resulted from the lab incorrectly reporting an individual’s test result to the health department.
“That individual has been removed from case counts in this image and from our dashboard,” officials said.
