Sheriff Kevin Henderson says another robbery is under investigation at a hotel in the Geneva-area.
On Tuesday deputies were called to the Holiday Inn Express located on 5&20 for the report of a robbery.
Investigators say two males – one armed with a handgun – entered the lobby and demanded cash.
The suspects restrained the clerk to a table with handcuffs before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.
One of the victims described the suspects as a white male, while the other was described as a Black or Hispanic male with a lighter complexion.
Sheriff Henderson says this incident could be connected to the robbery that occurred at the America’s Best Value Inn on November 25th.
Anyone with information who may recognize the suspects is asked to call 800-394-4560 or email [email protected]
The Geneva Police Department assisted deputies at the scene.
Both investigations remain open and active.
