It’s been more than a year, but there will be no criminal charges filed after the death of Anthony Tsialas.
Police said their investigation into the matter was complete this week, and that the matter had been turned over to the Tompkins County District Attorney’s Office.
They determined that no criminal charges should be filed.
Tsialas was found dead in Ithaca’s Fall Creek Gorge two days after he was last seen leaving a fraternity’s house on Cornell’s campus on October 24th, 2019.
Police were unable to find any evidence or reason to suspect foul play. The fraternity was banned for a year.
