On Monday, Major League Baseball announced the new MLB Draft League which will be comprised of top prospects preparing for the annual MLB amateur draft. Member teams will not have a major league affiliation. Several former New York-Penn League teams will be charter members. The new league will not, however, include the Auburn Doubledays.
The founding members of the MLB Draft League will include four former New York-Penn League teams. The Mahoning Valley Scrappers, State College Spikes, West Virginia Black Bears, and the Williamsport Crosscutters were announced as founding members on Monday.
For the past three seasons FingerLakes1.com has been the broadcast home for Auburn Doubledays baseball. In 2018 and 2019 we streamed every single DDays game live on FL1 Radio.
