Deputies say a Marion man was taken into custody on a weapons charge after a traffic stop a little before 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
Deputies say Dehaven Buckinhamon, 26, of Marion was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana.
The arrest followed a traffic stop for an uninspected vehicle. While deputies spoke with Buckingham, an odor of marijuana came from the vehicle, which led to a search.
That’s when deputies say they found metal knuckles, which they considered to be a weapon.
He was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing.
