The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of a 42-year-old following an investigation into a domestic incident on Chapel Street.
Police say Duncan Richardson, 42, was arrested on Saturday around 10:46 a.m. after officers were called to an incident where he threatened another person with a weapon.
Specifically, officers said that Richardson used a machete to threaten the female victim in the incident.
There were two children present when it happened.
Police say Richardson was charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, menacing, and criminal possession of a weapon – as a felony.
He was transported to the Seneca County Jail pending further court action.
