New York reports 5,310 new cases of COVID-19

New York State reported 5,310 new cases of COVID-19.

Governor Andrew Cuomo said Thursday that the total number of active hospitalizations across the state was 2,276. There were 31 new deaths reported.

The rate of positivity sat at 2.72% across New York. While micro-cluster positivity rate sat at 4.11%.

Taking the micro-cluster zones out of the equation the state’s positivity rate was 2.38%.

Once again, he asked New Yorkers to avoid travel for Thanksgiving. There were added micro-cluster efforts in some downstate counties, but none for the Finger Lakes or Western New York.
