New York State reported 5,310 new cases of COVID-19.
Governor Andrew Cuomo said Thursday that the total number of active hospitalizations across the state was 2,276. There were 31 new deaths reported.
The rate of positivity sat at 2.72% across New York. While micro-cluster positivity rate sat at 4.11%.
Taking the micro-cluster zones out of the equation the state’s positivity rate was 2.38%.
Today's update on the numbers:
Of the 195,239 tests reported yesterday, 5,310 were positive (2.72% of total).
Total hospitalizations are at 2,276.

Once again, he asked New Yorkers to avoid travel for Thanksgiving. There were added micro-cluster efforts in some downstate counties, but none for the Finger Lakes or Western New York.
