Bristol Mountain starts making snow, says it will be ready for start of season

Snowmaking is happening at Bristol Mountain.

Even though temperatures will rise on Thursday and Friday — snowmakers at the local destination know that now is the time to get things rolling.

Vice President Steven Fuller told 13WHAM-TV that while this year will be different — it will still be a good year.


“There’s going to be changes to how we operate, COVID-related,” he said. “But we always guarantee if there’s snow in Rochester, there’s snow at Bristol Mountain, so we’re looking forward to a great year.”

Bristol expects that with people having fewer activities to choose from, and the potential for outdoor fun — that resorts like theirs will be popular.
