Officials with the grocery chain Wegmans say they will be implementing updated safety measures to keep shoppers safe this holiday season.
Thanksgiving is approaching, and while many expect to see fewer gatherings that require large meals – grocery stores are expecting to see a steady flow of shoppers preparing for Thanksgiving-like meals.
Among the changes will be maintaining occupancy levels well below capacity limits. They will also install live outdoor cameras at its high-traffic stores so customers can determine how busy any individual site may be.
The company is also asking that customers plan ahead and order Thanksgiving meals ahead if they are going that route, according to News10NBC.
