Another state has been added to the COVID-19 travel restriction list. Another neighboring state has reached the threshold to be included, but was omitted by state leaders.
The latest addition is California, which was added to the travel advisory on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Massachusetts reached the criteria for inclusion but officials said enforcement would be too difficult. They said it wouldn’t be viable to impose restrictions on neighboring states.
That said, the state continues to discourage non-essential travel to states that are omitted from the travel list, which requires a 14-day quarantine upon return.
Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Connecticut are also not on the travel advisory list.
