Late this week officials in the Ithaca school district announced that high school students would continue remote learning until November 6th.
This comes after contact tracing revealed that a significant number of students and staff were potentially exposed to a positive tester earlier this week.
“The TCHD is in the process of calling all individuals who are determined to be close contacts,” the letter from Superintendent Luvelle Brown reported.
“Now more than ever, it is important to adhere to recommended health and safety practices,” Brown’s letter continued. “Our collective attention to these habits will help keep our community healthy and help us return to in-person learning.”
