No town tax in Geneva again, budget held flat despite pandemic

Officials in the town of Geneva say the 2021 budget has been approved.

Town Supervisor Mark Venuti told Finger Lakes News Radio that he used conservative revenue projections to come up with the framework for it.

The biggest assumption made in that process is banking on sales tax revenue staying flat.

It’s a $5.4 million spending plan, which is flat to this year’s budget. There will be no town tax, according to Venuti.
