On Thursday afternoon at approximately 4:40 pm the Seneca Falls Police Department issued a local law citation to Jonathan M. Tohafjian, age 28, of Fayette, following a Local Law complaint.
Police were called to the area of Daniels Street, Seneca Falls, where it was reported that an arrow was embedded into the exterior wall of a house.
Upon investigation, it was determined that Tohafjian was practicing with a bow at a nearby residence when an equipment malfunction caused the arrow to be released prior to being aimed at the target.
The local town ordinance, 146-4, prohibits the use of any bow within the old village of Seneca Falls limits.
Tohafjian was issued an appearance ticket for violating the local town ordinance; Discharge of Firearms and Weapons. He is due to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court on November 16th, 2020 at 5:30 pm.
