Syracuse safety Andre Cisco, the first true freshman in program history to earn All-America honors, will forego his college eligibility and enter the 2021 NFL Draft.
Cisco, who suffered a season-ending injury earlier this season, announced the news Tuesday evening.

“This is something I’ve been dreaming of since I was 8 years old, and I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity even under the unfortunate circumstances,” Cisco said in his announcement video.
“I’ve given this school everything I got, and this community gave it back tenfold. I can’t wait to make ya’ll proud.”
Cisco had been pegged as an early draft entry since earning All-America honors as a true freshman in 2018, when he tied for the national lead with seven interceptions.
