FLH will offer online appointment scheduling for flu shots in Geneva & Seneca Falls

Finger Lakes Health announced this week that their urgent care centers will offer online appointment scheduling for flu shots. They operate locations in Geneva and Seneca Falls.

Appointments can be scheduled by visiting www.flhealth.org and clicking ‘Schedule Now’.

According to the New York State Department of Health, an annual flu vaccine is recommended for almost everyone 6 months and older. It is one of the best ways to reduce flu illnesses, hospitalizations and death from flu. This fall and winter, the flu virus and the virus that causes COVID-19 may both be spreading. For that reason, getting a flu shot will be more important than ever to help people stay healthy and to ease the burden on our health care system. Getting a flu shot now is more important than ever because doctors don’t know what the risk is of having both flu and COVID-19 at the same time.

– Geneva Urgent Care, located at 789 Pre-Emption Road in Finger Lakes Health Commons, will be offering flu shots every day from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

– Seneca Falls Urgent Care, located at 1991 Balsley Road at Lifecare Medical Associates, will be offering flu shots Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

In addition to scheduling an appointment on-line, patients can call for an appointment or walk-in. For an appointment or more information, call (315) 781-2000 for the Geneva location and (315) 835-4900 for the Seneca Falls location.
