A large commercial fire prompted a heavy response from first responders in Steuben and Yates counties.
It was at T&R Environmental in Bath.
Firefighters had to use foam to extinguish the blaze due to chemical stored at the facility.
According to their website, T&R Spill Response – which is now known as T&R Environmental – was formed to handle a variety of transportation related spill response and mediation needs in 2009.
The fire remains under investigation. Penn Yan, Branchport/Keuka Park and Dundee fire companies were called to standby at the Hammondsport, Wayne and Pulteney.
