Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott gave an update on Monday afternoon on the status of starting linebackers Matt Milano and Tremaine Edmunds, who both suffered injuries that forced them out of Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. “They don’t appear to be long term injuries at this point, based on what we know,” McDermott said. “So we’ll put them in the day-to-day category, and we’ll continue to update you guys as we get information.
”That’s good news for Bills fans who have spent the past 24 hours anxious to learn the outlook on the two starters. Edmunds suffered a shoulder injury when trying to tackle Jets receiver Jameson Crowder, who broke the tackle and scored on a 69-yard touchdown. Milano tweaked his hamstring and left the game and didn’t return.
