Police say they arrested a 36-year-old Canandaigua resident after receiving a report of numerous people fighting got Jefferson Avenue.
David Perez, 36, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, endangering the welfare of a child, and menacing.
Police say Perez confronted a child and threatened them with a knife.
He was transported to the Ontario County Jail for processing.
