Syracuse football safety Andre Cisco has been named to another preseason All-American team.
The junior was one of two safeties to earn first team honors on the Associated Press preseason All-American team Tuesday, along with Georgia senior Richard LeCounte.
Tuesday’s announcement is the fifth first-team All-American nod for Cisco, joining nominations from Lindy’s, Phil Steele, Sporting News and Street & Smith’s.
Cisco is also on four watch lists for national college football awards, including the Bronko Nagurski Trophy for best defensive player and the Jim Thorpe Award for best defensive back.
The active FBS leader in interceptions with 12, Cisco finished 2019 with 68 tackles and an ACC-leading five interceptions.
