Deputies: Seneca Falls woman threatened man with a knife, arrested on six charges in Wayne County

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 22-year-old Seneca Falls woman following the investigation into a  family trouble complaint in the Village of Sodus.

Deputies arrested Licritia Verstreate, 22, of Seneca Falls for second-degree harassment, second-degree menacing, criminal possession of a weapon, and three counts of second-degree contempt.

It is alleged that during a physical altercation Verstreate punched a female victim in the face several times before displaying a knife and threatening the victim with it. During the incident she was also in violation of a stay away order of protection, protecting a male and two children at the residence.

Deputies say Verstreate was transported to the Wayne County Jail to await centralized arraignment.
