Sean McDermott knows that the Bills Mafia can bring a true home field advantage to the Buffalo Bills.
He also knows it is possible that no fans will be in attendance at Bills Stadium this season while other teams will be allowed to host a certain percentage of fans. The Miami Dolphins, for instance, are planning on having a maximum capacity of 13,000 fans in the stands when the Bills come to town in Week 2. When asked for his thoughts on the matter, McDermott did not hold back. Buffalo’s head coach would say that it is “ridiculous” that some teams can host fans while others cannot.
“It is what it is,” McDermott told the media ahead of Monday’s training camp practice. “We control what we can control. I think it’s honestly ridiculous that there will be… what appears to be a playing field that is like that. Inconsistently across the league with the different away stadiums, but it is what it is. We control what we can control. That’s gotta be our mindset and that’s how we attack it.”
