An Auburn Enlarged City School District meeting, which took place on Friday was hacked.
The Auburn Citizen reported over the weekend that someone broke into the video conference, which was hosted on Zoom for parents and families from the Auburn Junior High School, and began posting threats and racial slurs.
The meeting was quickly ended and local police were notified, according to school officials.
An apology has been posted to the District’s website. They said criminal charges will be pursued against those involved in the hack.
