Last week Auburn City Council awarded bids for construction of the City’s new public safety building.
They expect construction is set to begin as early as September, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony set to take place in the fall of 2021.
City Clerk Chuck Mason told Finger Lakes News Radio that a mix of local and regional contractors are in play.
There were a total of 3`1 bids for general construction, as well as mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work.
