New York State Police have made an arrest following the weekend stabbing and officer-involved shooting that occurred in Canandaigua.
Mark Zullo, 60, was charged with menacing a police officer, second-degree assault, and two counts of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
The charges all stem from the incident on Saturday, August 15th.
Troopers say Zullo stabbed a woman numerous times and when they arrived on-scene, he failed to comply with them to drop the weapon.
He advanced toward the officer who responded, who fired his service weapon.
Troopers say Zullo was arrested on Thursday after being released from the hospital.
